3145 Hey guys! I'm Emily Schaller and I am the one riding my bicycle and Vespa scooter cross country to raise awareness and cash for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My dream at the end of the journey is to be able to be on the Ellen DeGeneres show, even if it is for 30 seconds so I can share my story. Ellen's my hero and her show is the best and almost daily I hear "you know who you look like????" and of course I'll respond playing their game, "No who?!".."ELLEN!!?." Well I'll take it, but the most important part of my trip is to tell as many people as I can about cystic fibrosis, something that I live with each day. My dream was to ride my bike from Detroit to California but on the Detroit to Chicago portion I hurt my achilles tendon. So I decided, the show must go on, so I bought a Vespa! I will be mixing it up each day though because my achilles is a bit better..so maybe 160 miles on the Vespa then 40 on my bike.
