Datarock played a short-n-sweet set at this year's Sunset Sounds festival, in Brisbane, but it was definitely a wild show—as to be expected this time of year. We were able to catch up with them backstage for a quick minute, as they put down a few beers, and bothered to ask a few questions. The performance was a bit different this time, as their was a sort of homage to The Smiths and good-old Morrissey. We asked if they were listening to anything new and current out of Australia, and—perhaps an odd-ball question but—how and the hell they ever managed to get on so many video games sound tracks. Good guys here, and though they're not idols (self-admitted), they certainly know how to have a good laugh....
