<body>On February 27th, a fast-rising Canadian band by the name of Elliott BROOD visited London at their underground venue, The Borderline, just one night after M. Ward played a sold out show. Tough night to follow.

But it's safe to say that these three guys from Toronto, Ontario held their own in a land far away from home.

Maybe it was just a lot of Canadians in the audience. But every time a little fact of Canada was leaked from their mouths, the crowd went wild.

&quot; This song is about a small town in Northern Ontario that nobody really knows about!&quot; yelled singer/guitarist, Mark Sasso.

&quot;WOOOOOOOOOOO!&quot; the crowd yelled back.

The band was stunned at first, but it sunk in: it was their temporary home away from home, and the Brits were eating it right up.

The band was recently nominated for two Juno awards (the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy, also where Celine Dion still reigns) for their album Mountain Meadows. The awards include Roots &amp; Traditional Album Of The Year (Group) and CD/DVD Artwork Design Of The Year.

Watch this video to hear about their reaction to the nominations, musings on if they were to run Canada, their performance in London of the song &quot; The Valley Town&quot;, and much more.
